Legacy Golf Championship

The 5-day event (June 14-18, 2025) hosted during the Juneteenth week will begin with a Jr/Collegiate AM fundraising event on June 14th which is open to the community to play in and end with a 54-hole stroke play championship at Lagoon Park. Lagoon Park offers players tree-lined fairways and a serene atmosphere. It was named one of the Top 100 courses in Alabama by Golf Digest. Our goal is to provide a venue that creates invaluable opportunities for junior golfers to showcase their skills and network with the college coaches who will be in attendance. This event will also allow collegiate players to gain World Amateur Golf Rankings. The uniqueness of the LGC will stem from the extra activities incorporated into the daily schedule, providing an opportunity for the players and their families to learn about Montgomery’s rich history as the “Birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement”.
