Lady Patriots sweep the PCA Invite with wins over Stanhope, Westm. OM, Brew Tech, Demopolis in the semis and host PCA in the finals.
Pike Road Track Teams Run First Meet
The boys’ team finished 2nd overall and Zach Dillon came in 5th place in the boys division. Congrats to both the boys’ and girls’ teams for all their hard work to get to this point. Go Patriots!

Macon East Headmaster and Football Coach Recognized for Wins
Macon East Academy’s Headmaster and Head Football Coach Glynn Lott was recognized by Powerhouse Sports as one of the top 20 winningest active coaches in Alabama, according to Alabama High School Football Historical Society. He has been coaching at Macon East for 27 years and has a 177-122-0 record.
Pike Road Intermediate Chosen Counseling Program of Distinction
The Alabama School Counselor Association has chosen the Pike Road Intermediate School counseling program as a 2023 Alabama School Counseling Program of Distinction! The application process showed that Mrs. Parker’s counseling program at PRIS aligns with the Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Model for Alabama Public Schools and the American School Counseling Association National Model at an exemplary level. Next, the program will be evaluated to be possibly named a Recognized ASCA (Alabama School Counseling Association) Model Program. Congratulations to Mrs. Brittany Parker on this accomplishment. We are so thankful for all you do for the families, learners, and staff at Pike Road Intermediate School!
Specials Classes Rock at PRIS
Spotlight on our awesome specials and PE classes! Our C4 and C5 learners get to attend library, music, art, and computer science each week. Our C6 learners can choose between attending band or rotating between AKEEP Korean classes, Art, Computer Science, and Library, and all of our learners get the enjoy PE each day. These lead learners work hard to expose the learners at PRIS to all kinds of enrichment and creativity!
