From the first day of school to the final celebrations, Pike Road Schools has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and professional advancement. As we wrap up a milestone year, we are proud to reflect on the many ways our learners and educators have gone above and beyond.

At Pike Road Elementary School (PRES), nearly every grade level saw an increase in i-Ready scores, and Pike Road Intermediate School (PRIS) inducted 89 students into the PRIS Beta Club, a national organization that requires members to maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.

At Pike Road Junior High School, the school honored 119 seventh and eighth-graders for making the A-B Honor Roll and celebrated 43 students who earned all A’s for the entire school year. PRJHS also exceeded its A+ College Ready student growth goal on the PSAT 8/9. The eighth-grade class not only surpassed the target 60-point gain but achieved an incredible 95-point increase, putting them 39 points above the national average. This outstanding performance earned PRJHS the A+ College Ready School of Excellence Award, a recognition that reflects the dedication and focus of students, teachers, and administrators.

At Pike Road High School (PRHS), the Class of 2025 crossed the graduation stage with pride and purpose. This year’s 192 graduates included 45 honor graduates, 40 students who passed at least one Advanced Placement (AP) exam, 89 students who benchmarked on the ACT, 114 students who completed a Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway, 57 students who earned an Advanced Academic Endorsement, 19 students who received athletic scholarships and more than 80 students were awarded academic scholarships, totaling more than $6 million.

PRHS also added nine new names to its ACT 30+ Wall, honoring students who scored 30 or higher on the college readiness exam. And among its many high-achieving students, PRHS proudly celebrates Annabelle Lipscomb, a National Merit Finalist and recipient of the National Merit Auburn University Scholarship. This year, PRHS was also named to the 2024 AP School Honor Roll, which recognizes schools whose Advanced Placement programs are both expanding access and achieving strong outcomes. The high school offered 13 AP courses across grades 9–12, giving students more opportunities than ever to challenge themselves and earn college credit.

Across all grade levels, Pike Road Schools remains committed to both student achievement and teacher excellence. As we close the year, we’re not just proud of the data—we’re proud of the stories behind it: the learners who set new goals, and the teachers who pushed their students to reach and exceed those goals.
